When it comes to holiday decor, nothing beats the smell and look of fresh greenery.

Not only do live decorations feel a little more special, they are also better for the environment, and in this case, good for the beneficiaries of The American Foundation for Children with AIDS’ beneficiaries.

Lynch Creek Farms is gracious enough to offer AFCA a 15% donation with every wreath, centerpiece, garland, tree and swag sold on their website. That 15% goes directly to giving hope to those infected and affected by AIDS in our programs.

Each order placed now will arrive in time for the holidays and is the perfect gift for the person that has everything.

The most sustainable holiday decor, one that the Earth will thank you for! At the end of the season, you can unassemble the wreath and compost the natural pieces of it and save any of the bows or ornaments for embellishing next year’s gifts, keeping waste out of landfills.

With a wide selection in a variety of themes, you will find a style that suits you.

Lynch Creek’s guide to caring for your fresh greens and Swag Care

We recommend that you hang your wreath or swag outside because fresh air extends the life of the natural product. Climate and direct sunlight drastically affect how long your evergreens will last. Hanging your wreath or swag in a cool location with a good amount of shade will help it live longer. In a cool climate out of direct sunlight, our wreaths and swags can last 6 weeks or more when spritzed regularly.

Some customers really want their wreath or swag inside their home, and that is understandable. When placed indoors, they will last about 3 weeks with proper care.

Wreaths and swags absorb moisture through their cut ends. To increase the health and lifespan of your wreath or swag, spritz the back with water every 2-3 days. Evergreens will drink the water, and you will find your wreath or swag to be more fragrant and last longer.

All greenery should be kept away from heat sources that may dry them out such as direct sunlight, heat vents, and open flames. Always keep evergreens away from ignition sources.

Centerpiece Care

Caring for these products is actually quite easy, as they require very little upkeep. With proper care, our centerpieces should last at least 3 weeks.

Upon arrival, add ½ cup of water to the center of the oasis foam. To properly care for your product, add another ½ cup water and spritz every 2-3 days. This brings out the fragrance.

If your centerpiece has a candle, there will be a green plastic candle holder inserted in the center. For taper candles, simply insert the candles into the holders. For pillar candles, peel off the white square sticker on the candle holder and press the candle firmly into the holder. It is not necessary to use the sticker for LED candles.

All greenery should be kept in a cool location, away from heat sources that may dry them out such as direct sunlight, heat vents, and open flames. Always keep them away from ignition sources. Keep candle flames at least 4” away from the greenery. Never leave lit candles unattended.

Tabletop Tree Care

Caring for these products is actually quite easy, as they require very little upkeep. With proper care, our tabletop trees should last at least 3 weeks.

Upon arrival, add up to 8 cups of water directly in the top of the tree (it’s best to move the tree to the kitchen counter in case of spills). Our trees will soak up all that water! To properly care for your product, add another 1 cup or so of water and spritz every 2-3 days. Trees are shipped fairly dry to avoid damage during shipping.

Garland Care

We recommend that you hang your garland outside because fresh air extends the life of this natural product. Climate and direct sunlight drastically affect how long garland will last. Hanging your garland in a cool location with a good amount of shade will help it live longer. In a cool climate out of direct sunlight, our garland can last 4-6 weeks or more when spritzed regularly.
